Bath Cookies and Bath Bomb Fizzies
With Mothers Day just right around the corner, I have been super busy making Homemade gifts for those special woman in my life.
Here are a few great recipes for Bath Cookies and Bath Bomb Fizzies. Be sure to check out the video below for a step by step “How To”.
Bath Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Citric Acid
- 1/2 cup Powdered SLS
- 2 oz Melted Cocoa Butter
- 1 oz Melted Shea Butter
- 1 oz Fragrance oil of your choice (Skin safe fragrance)
Directions:
- Melt your Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter.
- Combine all of your dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour your Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter into your dry mixture and add your fragrance oil.
- Mix until well combined. You want your mixture to hold its shape when pressed into a ball.
- Press your mixture into a silicone mold as tightly as you can.
- Allow to set over night.
- Remove from molds and enjoy a nice relaxing fizzing bubble bath.
Bath Bomb Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)
- 1/2 Cup Citric Acid
- 1/2 Cup Corn Starch
- 1/2 Cup Coarse Epsom Salt
- 1.5 Tablespoons Vitamin E Oil
- 9 mL Fragrance oil of your choice (Skin safe fragrance)
- Witch Hazel as needed
Directions:
- Measure out the Baking Soda, Citric Acid and Corn Starch and pour into the bowl. Work the powders to remove any clumps.
- Add the Coarse Epsom Salt to the powders and mix until combined.
- Add the Vitamin E Oil to the dry ingredients and mix using your hands until there are no more clumps.
- Add Fragrance Oil and mix until well incorporated.
- Spray the mix with Witch Hazel (between 10 and 15 sprays). Mix in with your hands until the mixture clumps in your fist
- Press your mixture into a silicone mold as tightly as you can.
- Allow to set over night.
- Remove from molds and enjoy a nice relaxing fizzing bath.
