I love making soap. Hot Process soap is my favorite, even though it takes a little longer, I don’t have to wait for it to cure, and can use it right away. I am a bit behind on my homemade gifts this year, so hot process was a necessity for this soap to be ready in time.
Hot Process Soap
Ingredients:
2 oz Castor Oil
8 oz Coconut Oil, Melted
22 oz Olive Oil
4.41 oz Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)
10.56 oz Distilled Water
Red Colorant
2-3 oz Peppermint Essential Oil

can this recipe for the soap be halfed to make a smaller batch? We want to make more different scented soap but in smaller batches. Thank you for posting this.
