I think I am the only one who can turn a healthy breakfast into chocolate addiction. I love oatmeal, but I could never get my kids to eat it. Well, this recipe solved that issue real quick. It is now their favorite meal for breakfast!
Not only is the double chocolate oatmeal decadent, it is filling too! The Girl will usually eat everything in site, but this fills her up and sticks with her until lunch. As my mom use to say “It’s oatmeal, it will stick to your ribs!”
The great thing about this oatmeal recipe is that it can also be made in large batches and frozen!
Simply make the oatmeal, then using a cupcake tin, spoon the oatmeal in to each cupcake and freeze until sold. Once frozen, remove from cupcake tin and store in the freezer in an airtight container. Then when you have a craving for something chocolaty, just pop one puck into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 1-2 minutes until warm!
